Add Paper

The printers are checked in the morning by the person who turns on the computers in the open lab. Tray 2 on the printers should be filled all the way in the morning. Throughout the day, the person on Open Lab duty should periodically check to make sure the printers aren’t running low.

Should a printer run out of paper:

  1. Get a ream of paper from the cabinet at the back of the distribution center.
  2. Pull out Tray 2 and insert the ream of paper into the tray.
  3. Note that Tray 3 is empty at all time. Having papers in it will jam up the printer.

*Some printers cannot take in the entire ream of paper. They may fit inside the tray but it will jam up the printer later. If such problems occur, just put two thirds of a ream into the tray and leave the rest at the distribution center.

*Also remember that users cannot use their own paper for printing.
